Enjoy a ride along the scenic Esopus or in the historic city of Kingston! Board our Esopus Scenic Train (May-Nov.) at Mt. Pleasant or Phoenicia and step back to a time when train travel was the only way to access the Catskills. Visit the Empire State Railway Museum housed in the Phoenicia station to learn more about this region’s history! Throughout the year we also offer the Kingston Shuttle to help celebrate special events in the City of Kingston! The conductor checks his watch and the train whistle lets you know that your ride into history is about to begin! Please join us as we prepare to expand service and work towards linking Kingston with the Catskills by rail once more. All aboard!
